\nFor three evenings in June, we invite you to revisit the recently opened exhibition “#FAMM.BA.2026 \/ Post Truth, Pre Nap,” featuring the graduates of the Bachelor\u2019s program from the Department of Photography, Animation, and Media Arts at the Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA FAMM). On June 4th and 12th, the performance “Hexaclavas” by Emilija Ukrainec will be presented, accompanied by guided tours of the exhibition led by Aleksandra Bronu\u0161ait\u0117 and Agn\u0117 Savickait\u0117. On the evening of June 19th, there will be a guided tour only. The exhibition is open at the “Atletika” gallery (Vitebsko g. 21, Vilnius) until June 20th.<\/p>\n
About the exhibition<\/p>\n
The exhibition disperses across the city and spaces \u2013 the Atletika gallery, Studium P, U\u017eupis Art Incubator and various spaces within the Academy itself. The feelings, symptoms, and explorations of 28 young media artists have resulted in a wide variety of works \u2013 ranging from intimate self-reflections and collective rituals to post-internet imagery and visions of the future.<\/p>\n
In moving images, animation, virtual reality, artificial intelligence queries, sound compositions, objects, darkness, performance, and painted canvases, a state is formed, hovering in time between truth and sleep. Here, the world is no longer being repaired, only observed \u2013 with irony, fatigue, at times with fascination or wonder \u2013 abandoning the illusion that everything can still be resolved and controlled. Perhaps it is an attempt to find a way to get comfortable and stay within \u2013 accepting the fragmentation of identity, the technological noise, the fragility of mutual relationships, and the weight of personal experiences.
